Summer 2010. Sign up for a FREE Reading Club. There are several groups starting in June at the Alameda County libraries in Fremont, Newark, and Union City. All groups are led by experienced volunteer tutors. Don’t miss reading a good book this summer, a chance to practice your conversation skills and meet new friends. Tell a friend.

The newsletter includes information on the 25th Anniversary celebration, the publication of Learning Together, an Anthology of Students Writing from the last 25 years with works by Juvenile Hall youth, tutor developed lesson plan, sample student writing, how to write an elevator speech from the Job-Readiness and computer class at Bermuda Gardens in Ashland, and a June-September 2010 calendar of events.
