The Adult Literacy Services Reading Clubs will start on Monday September 21.

Registration for Reading Clubs starts on Tuesday, September 8. Call to register.


All Reading Club groups are first come, first served. You must register every session. If the reading club is full, you’ll be placed in a waiting list.

Watch for a Reading Club schedule in the mail in the next two weeks.

Winter 2010 session

The popular reading groups are lead by experienced tutors at Alameda County Library branches and community locations. They are a great place for English speaking second language learners to practice conversation, reading, vocabulary, writing, and to meet new friends from around the world.
